 | In line with IS 999:2004 and The Private Security Services Act 2004, CDSS security personnel undergo a nationally recognised formal training course, conducted by Fetac qualified instructors.
Each candidate must complete a written examination on completion of the course which examines theoretical and
practical aspects of the Security Industry. On completion of the course, successful candidates are
awarded a certificate of competency by The Security Institute Of Ireland.

- Basic Risk Insurance
- Advanced Security Techniques
- Health & Safety in the Workplace
- Fire Detection and Prevention (Theory & Practice)

| The principals of C.D.S.S., recognise that differing security situations and requirements, call
for security personnel with differing natural skills and personal attributes. Prior to induction and site
training, great emphasis is placed on selecting security personnel that are compatible with client site
specifications. Following induction to client sites, security personnel receive fully paid "onsite
training" in order to absorb the duty procedures, which are tailored to each of our client's specific
